Sotogrande was developed in the early 60’s based on
1800 hectares of farmland in Southern Andalusia, called Campo de Gibraltar.
But in Roman times the area had a different name – BARBESULA, hence
the name of our restaurant.

Barbesula has an underlying Roman theme but a menu which is truly
